Who We Are Missouri Prayer exists to promote intercession for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God in Missouri. A network of over 1600 intercessors and leaders from many backgrounds and denominational affiliations are praying for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be offered to every man, woman, and child in Missouri. We are praying for Godly leaders to be in places of influence in the heartland of America and for God's ways and purposes to be advanced. We are aligned with the United States Alliance for Reformation with Dutch Sheets, the Reformation Prayer Network with Mike and Cindy Jacobs, Breakthrough Apostolic Ministries with Apostle Barbara Yoder, Glory of Zion with Chuck Pierce, Global Harvest with C. Peter and Doris Wagner, and Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network. Our Missouri apostolic council oversees the vision for mobilization and activation of vision and strategy. This is who we are: Born again, Spirit filled, empowered sons and daughters of the Kingdom released into the earth with a destiny to transform society with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are led by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, rooted and grounded in the Word of God, equipped to stand in a position of righteousness through His blood. We are warring worshippers with love in our hearts and power on our lips to overthrow the enemy. We are God's invading force against darkness, death and destruction. We are uncompromising, wide awake, Word wielding warriors who will stand for LIFE, TRUTH, and LIBERTY.
Our VisionMissouri Global Mission exists to implement the following goals and initiatives: - Mobilize a statewide prayer network that organizes prayer efforts across the state thereby preparing the way for the release of the gospel message to each person.
- Pray through specific issues that are holding back the harvest and causing the territory to move away from God’s purposes. Examples include wrongful shedding of blood, idolatry, broken covenants, and deceptive strongholds.
- Set watchmen/gatekeepers in place who are able to see afar off for the purpose of protection and/or receiving the blessing of the Lord.
- Hold city-wide and/or regional and/or state worship and prayer assemblies to repent of sins that are holding an area in captivity.
- Respond to national prayer initiatives and mobilize city, regional, and/or state wide initiatives essential to breaking through and transforming the city, region, and state.
- Inform statewide intercessors of strategic prayer needs that cover state, national, and world issues.
- Implement and/or direct strategic prayer journeys targeting historical wounds in the land or its inhabitants.
- Organize and facilitate prayer without ceasing based on Biblical principles of effectual prayer.
Missouri Prayer Mission originated in April, 2000.Our purpose and goal is the transformation of society under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We desire to influence the seven mountains of culture: education, religion (spiritual life), family, entertainment and the arts, business, and the media. There is an eighth mountain, the mountain of the Lord which will be the highest mountain and all nations of the earth will stream to it to worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Missouri Prayer Global Mission has an apostolic council of leaders who seek the Lord for vision, and implement that vision throughout the state through ten regions and 114 counties and each major city. Our desire is to see Missouri be a place of refuge for the oppressed, a place where captives are set free, a place where the gospel of Jesus Christ is offered to each person. Missouri is called to be a place filled with uncompromising righteousness through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ. Please pray with us that "the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea." This is what we do:We know our God and we make Him known. We worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. We know His will because He speaks to us. We listen to the Spirit of Truth, know the Word of God, and do what we see our Father do. We are not caught unaware in any area because we have discernment. We love our God, our neighbors, and our enemies. We live and move and have our being in Jesus. We love our families, are faithful to our spouse, go the second mile, turn the other cheek, refuse to rationalize sin, and teach our children the ways of the Lord. We lead others to Jesus; we prophesy in McDonalds, Wal-Mart and any other place where people need to hear from God. We will not be satisfied until every man, woman, boy and girl have had an opportunity to meet Jesus, have a life changing encounter with His Spirit, and are walking in their destiny. We will not be satisfied until Jesus is Lord in the earth and the enemies of God are defeated. We confront the enemies of disease, corruption, deception, and death with weapons of war that are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We prayer walk our neighborhoods, college campuses, and city streets decreeing the Word of God. We speak out against abortion, evil, deception, addiction, darkness, and death. We do not compromise to please man or beast. We know who we are and where we are going.
This is what we believeReformer’s Creed I believe that God created the heaven and the earth, Formed Man in Adam and Eve after His image, and Commissioned Adam as original head of the Human race With the dominion mandate unto the full glorification of the earth. Adam, being tempted of Satan, transgressed the Word of God by willful disobedience and Disrupted man's relationship with God, Incurred sin's penalty which is death, Corrupted man's nature and, Precipitated the curse upon a fallen cosmos. I believe that God, in order to redeem both the sinner and the creation from the curse Sent for his only Son, Jesus, the Last Adam who Bore sin's penalty in His crucifixion, Defeated death by His resurrection, Inherited humanity's forfeited throne in His ascension, and Now rules as King over all the earth. I believe the Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit and commissioned with the cultural mandate, is charged to Proclaim the gospel to the lost, Disciple all nations, Advance the Kingdom into all human institutions, and Shape the foundation of future generations Until all aspects of life are dedicated to the glory of God.
