Prayer Points for Missouri:

Don’t forget the five foundational decisions that we decreed in the year 2000 and again in 2004. These are the “launch pad” for the release of power in our lives:

“Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” Isaiah 58:12

Decision one: Do we want the Presence of God or the programs of men in our state? We chose the Presence of God in Bolivar, Missouri on October 21, 2000 based on Exodus 33.

Decision two: Will we walk in dependence upon God or do we want to walk independently of Him? We chose dependence upon God and abiding in Him in Hannibal, Missouri on April 7, 2001 based on John 15.

Decision three: Do we want the Spirit of Truth in Missouri, or do we want to keep our deceptions? This decision was made in Independence, Missouri on December 7, 2001. We choose the Spirit of Truth, John 16:13-15.

Decision four: Do we want the fruits of the Spirit in Missouri, or do we choose to walk in the works of the flesh? This decision was made on April 20, 2002 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We chose the fruits of the Spirit from Galatians 5.

Decision five: Do we want the Kingdom of God (righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit)or do we want the kingdom of man (manipulation, intimidation, and control)in Missouri. This decision was made on September 28, 2002 in Columbia, MO. We chose the Kingdom of God from Romans 14:17.

We must continually reaffirm those decisions, declaring our stand for the state of Missouri and proclaiming Psalms 24:

“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty--he is the King of glory. Selah”

  • Pray for a release of unity among ministries and churches. We must gain a Kingdom mentality that lifts us up out of what we are doing into what the Lord is doing. Psalms 133, John 17.
  • Pray for the release of finances to advance the Kingdom of God; pray for the shift from donations to revenues for the Kingdom. Isaiah 45, Proverbs 3:9-10 We need our minds renewed to the Lord’s ways when it comes to giving and finances.
  • Pray for all darkness, deception, addictions, death, and false covenants to be exposed and removed from the minds and hearts of Missourians. Isaiah 9.
  • Pray for any and all terrorist activities to be exposed and stopped so our land will be safe and free from attacks. Psalms 91, Psalms 31:19-24.
  • Pray for laborers in the harvest; pray for boldness to share the gospel; pray for zeal to be stirred up in hearts for the Lord. Matt. 9:37-38.
  • Pray for the new wineskin to be formed. Matt. 9:16-17.

Jeremiah 12:5 “If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?”

If you have been walking with the Lord for a while, you realize that we are now in a time of acceleration like no other. We have graduated from walking with footmen, to running with horses, to now a new acceleration that our present “horsepower” cannot keep up with. I have recently realized that there has to be another vehicle that can carry us (the Body of Christ) through, into, and beyond this present place of transition and acceleration. As I was praying through this need to keep up with what the Lord was doing, and singing the song, “We Will Ride” by Andy Park (Words to this song are pasted at the bottom of this e-mail), I had a vision based on Isaiah 6. In Isaiah 6, Isaiah sees the Lord high and lifted up and His train fills the temple.

In the vision, I saw the train of the Lord, the part of His garment that trails along as He moves; it was flowing from His back, billowing in the wind and glory of His Presence. I saw myself as a little girl, watching the train pass by. The Lord spoke to me and said, “Step onto my train. If you will step onto the train of my glory, you will experience a ride like you have never known. It’s my glory that will carry you to and through, into and beyond where you are right now.” In the vision, I stepped onto the train of His glory and realized that this is the only way we are going to keep up in these times. It is the glory that will carry us, move us, position us, and empower us to move with the accelerated power of Holy Spirit in these days. The train of His garment was not the color I expected. Instead of gold or silver, it was pure white. I was offered a ride on a white garment. I believe this speaks of holiness and purity. The little girl speaks of innocence and childlike faith that allows us to enter into the Kingdom of God.

Suddenly, I was crying out, “All Aboard! All Aboard!” I knew it was the call of the “train conductor”, Holy Spirit, telling us it is time to step onto the train that will take us into the next wave of Presence and Glory. Several years ago, I was struggling with prophetic words that I had received. They were words that were accurate, but I could not make them happen. At the time I did not realize that they were to be prayed for, and waited for, until the timing was right. I heard Holy Spirit instruct me concerning prophetic words that they are like a train, a group of railroad cars, coming through the station of our lives, thoughts and vision flowing through our minds, but we could not get on a moving train, we had to wait until the train pulled into our station, the steps came down, and the conductor said, “All Aboard!”

When the vision of the train of His glory came and Holy Spirit began to cry out through me, “All Aboard! All Aboard!”, I knew it was time for many of the prophetic words that had been spoken over our lives to NOW come forth. The train was pulling into the station, the steps were coming down, and the conductor was saying, “All Aboard!” I believe this is a word for us and that now is the time, today is the day, and the train of His glory is coming by. In the innocence of childlike faith, and in the purity of His holiness, we have the opportunity to step onto His train and be carried to regions beyond our present circumstances and opportunities.

In times of acceleration, we must “SIMPLIFY! PURIFY! and MAGNIFY!” We must choose to simplify our lives by keeping our childlike obedience to our Father, leaving the complicated stuff to Him. “My heart is not proud, O Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother.” Psalms 131:1-2 We must purify our thoughts, our motives, and our lives, keeping our garments white, so we can be offered a ride on the “white” train of His garment. And we must continually magnify the Lord, allowing Him to be larger than any problem, giant, or situation we face. “O Magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt his name together.” Psalms 34:3

I think we are in for a “ride” of a lifetime. The words to the chorus reflect our choice:

We say, yes Lord, we will ride with You

We will stand up and fight.

We will ride with the armies of heaven

We'll be dressed in white, we'll be dressed in white"

We say, "yes, yes Lord, we will ride"

We Will Ride

He has fire in His eyes and a sword in His hand And He's riding a white horse across this land.
He has fire in His eyes and a sword in His hand
And He's riding a white horse across this land
And He's calling out to you and me
"Will you ride with me?"

He has fire in His eyes and a sword in His hand
And He's riding a white horse across this land
And He's calling out to you and me
"Will you ride with me?"

We say, "yes, yes Lord, we will ride with You"

CHORUS:

We say, "yes Lord, we will ride with You
We will stand up and fight
We will ride with the armies of heaven
We'll be dressed in white, we'll be dressed in white
" We say, "yes, yes Lord, we will ride"

He has a crown on His head and he carries a scepter in His hand
And He's leading the armies across this land
And He's calling out to you and me
"Will you ride with me?"

We say, "yes, yes Lord
We will ride with You"

That fire in His eyes is His love for His bride
And He's longing that she be with Him
Right by His side
That fire in His eyes is His burning desire
That His bride be with Him, right by His side
And He's calling out to us right now,
"Will you ride with me?"

Yes Lord, yes Lord, yes Lord, yes Lord

Prepare for the Future
by Regina Shank

January 20, 2007

On January 17th, the Lord woke me up with a word of preparation for the body of Christ. I believe we are to prepare storehouses in preparation for future times of distress. The Lord does not keep us in the dark concerning these things. He wants His people to be prepared.

I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to read Job 38:22-23:

“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, which I reserve for times of trouble for days of war and battle?”

I was especially drawn to the word “storehouses” and felt that the Lord was directing His people to prepare storehouses for times of trouble that may lie ahead of us. In a storehouse, you would store:

  • Food in famine
  • Clothing
  • Water
  • Heat
  • Blankets
  • There would be refuge and safety.

I believe that the ice storm we just went through in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri was a warning, or precursor, rehearsal for times that lie ahead.

Job 40:6 “Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm…”

In the storm: God speaks, Job listens, sees, responds, and repents, humbling himself. God show him the way out of his mess, then restores and blesses.

In John 12:31, it says:

“Now is the time for judgment…”

I believe we are about to enter some of these times. Judgment is not a bad thing; mercy always triumphs over it, but without judgment, justice cannot come.

In Job 42:4-6, it says:

“You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak, I will question you, and you shall answer me.’ My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you, Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.”

In Job’s time of trouble he went from hearing the Lord to actually seeing Him as Lord. It brought Job to a place of humility, where he found out who God really was. His latter days were greater than his former as he repented before the Lord. I believe America could possibly experience this humbling in the days ahead, and as God’s children, we do not have to be unprepared. I believe we should prepare “storehouses” to be ready for what could lie ahead. America has heard of the Lord, but will have opportunity in the days ahead to see Him as protector, provider, Savior, Deliverer, and King.

I am not the only one hearing this warning. I have pasted warnings from very respected prophetic voices that were posted on the Elijah list, and they are noted below.

Thanks for considering this word. I want us to prepare as Joseph did when the Lord spoke to him concerning the seven years of famine in Egypt.

"VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS AND EARTHQUAKES. BE PREPARED--BOTH PROPHETICALLY AND NATURALLY"
From the desk of Steve Shultz:

"I don't want to cause people to fear" --I've protested for years-- "especially on THE ELIJAH LIST! God doesn't want us to cause people to be scared, but to just pray" --was my declaration.

Then 9/11 happened AFTER many had written to me previously, asking me such things as, "Why do I keep hearing 911? What does that mean?"

Frankly, I had no idea. God wasn't showing me anything.

Then Katrina happened and several warning prophecies had come out, but I hadn't taken them that seriously. I did put out small warnings though--a year earlier. But other prophets were speaking, we discovered later. We warned; but we didn't warn as much as we should have.

But now, this time--this time, it's VERY DIFFERENT! Highly confirmed. Clearly stated. Settled in the realm of the Holy Spirit somehow. Now I feel like it's not only time to warn you, but to give you some tools to be ready.

The "Timing" feels very soon indeed, though I don't have a date. When I visited Baton Rouge and New Orleans with Sharnael Wolverton (with Swiftfire Ministries) a number of months ago, I could not believe with my eyes the utter devastation! The history of that event made it clear to all. The utter loss is difficult to communicate unless you go--even if you were to go today. The city is GONE.

Sharnael told me then, that if it were not for the generator that she shared with her neighbors, they would have been cut off from the outside world. Needless to say, since that time, I've purchased a generator, gotten extra wood for the fireplace, and we also have taken on some extra nonperishable food.

If we don't, AS THE CHURCH get extra supplies, as Joseph did in Egypt, we won't be able to help those in need when that time comes, and apparently, and prophetically, that time is coming!

The West Coast is certainly going to need to be prepared, but so are other areas of the nation and the world. They will need to help themselves and others. This will become the responsibility of the Church more than governments.

So don't be afraid. And yes, pray to avert as much of the disaster as possible. But just as Agabus arose as a prophet in New Testament times to warn and prepare The Church for times of famine--so must we.

This is the Church's finest hour! So Pray. Prophesy, and Prepare!

Word given by Chuck Pierce--Sent to Steve Shultz via personal email on 12-27-06:

As we get deeper in the realm of restoring the Tabernacle of David in this generation and season, the ground will begin to shake. We must see how Heavenly worship, which invades earth's atmosphere, will affect the layers of the earth.

This will cause shaking and quaking. The heat of the earth will be released. Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, California, Oregon, New York, Oklahoma, Missouri, and North Carolina...Strange weather patterns will affect Virginia and Ohio."

Chuck Pierce: "THE YEAR 5767--THIS WAR SEASON WILL BE A YEAR OF GREAT SHAKING AND QUAKING!"

Word of the Lord Spoken October 17, 2006:

We heard the LORD say the following:

A Shaking will start from the West and Shake Towards the East

"Things are moving closer to the shore of this nation to shake it. Get ready, for the shaking will begin to come close. It will start on the West and shake toward the East. I will cause systems and structures in the East to shake."

"Announce to the West Coast that a shaking is coming. The wave of My Spirit is coming closer to this nation, and the wicked will be shaken out as My GLORY rolls across the nation and rearranges it."

"'Have you ever given orders to the morning or shown the dawn its place that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?'" (Job 38:12-13)

"I AM calling My People to rise up and meet the morning, and decree that evil structures will be shaken!"

"The shaking from the West and from the East will begin to meet. As Delaware shakes, Philadelphia will begin to shake in a new way. That place where liberty has been crusted over and where God's plan for this nation is being held captive will begin to shake."

"The wave is coming closer to our shores to shake this nation. Let the wave hit the West. Let the shaking of the East begin. Let the sound of shaking begin. The sound that has been stopped that would bring the shaking is being released from Heaven. Let things that are not connected in the earth, get connected and prepare for the shaking."

"THE RING OF FIRE IS NOW SHAKING WITH EARTHQUAKES ALMOST WEEKLY--THE WEST COAST IS ON THE SAME RING OF FIRE"

Word Published by Rick Joyner on October 19, 2006:

Another Wave of Shaking

It is hurricane season again. One storm last year, Katrina, brought the wealthiest and most powerful nation on the earth to its knees. It revealed huge problems in the very fabric of the nation, that if we do not address, will prove even more devastating in the time to come. The primary weakness is stated in II Kings 17:33, "They feared the Lord, but served their own gods...." We have a nation where the overwhelming majority of the people call on the name of the Lord. The majority even claim to be born again, and they actually may be, but the same ones give themselves to serving many other gods.

"The Lord disciplines those whom He loves, and great discipline will come upon the United States because of God's love for it."

The Ring of Fire (a zone of frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions which encircles the basin of the Pacific Ocean) is now shaking with earthquakes and tsunamis almost weekly. The West Coast of the United States is on that same Ring of Fire, and is especially vulnerable to earthquakes and volcanoes. The only reason why there has not been far more disasters on the West Coast has been the grace of God, which is restraining them.

There were many great churches and Christians along the Gulf Coast region who were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Though they may not understand it, Katrina was in response to the prayers of those provoked by the growing wickedness around them. Likewise, many great churches, church movements, and some of our greatest spiritual heritage are found along the West Coast of the nation. Though they themselves may not understand it, a shaking is coming for their sakes.

Warnings about the bird flu are now nearly a daily drumbeat, and though authorities are trying not to cause panic, it is obvious that this could be a disaster of Biblical proportions, overshadowing all other natural disasters in history. It is by far the most frightening of all potential natural disasters looming over the world, but like all of the others, it can be stopped or lessened in its impact by our intercession, and where needed, repentance.

Even worse than the potential natural disasters are the disasters that men try to inflict on one another. News that Iran already has weapons-grade plutonium recently stunned the world. North Korea tested missiles with increasingly frightening range. Then a new conflict broke out in the Middle East that threatens to widen into a much bigger conflict, while terrorists strike a terrible blow in India. Then we must absorb the daily body count from Iraq. Could "the great tribulation" be much worse?

It is understandable that a huge and growing percentage of people are now suffering from panic attacks where anxiety simply becomes overwhelming. On every front, problems are growing beyond any human remedy.

We Are Not to Fear These Times

However, we are not to fear these times, but can rest in the fact that the Lord has everything perfectly under control. He knew they were all going to happen, and He spoke specifically of these times. As we read in Luke 21:25-28:

"And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the Heavens will be shaken.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

The Lord clearly warned His people about these times. They are upon us now, and we can rejoice because His Kingdom will soon come. When His Kingdom comes, not only will every human problem be resolved, but both mankind and the earth will be restored to the paradise they were created to be. It is going to be better than we could have ever imagined.

Though it may seem that events are cascading out of control so fast that the end of this age must be imminent--the time until the end of this age and the beginning of the new will be measured in decades, not years. The next two years will be some of the most dangerous and critical yet, but they will resolve some things that must be addressed so that the world can have a few years of relative calm.

Peace will break out for a period of time. However, we do not want to waste the present trials, and we will need to use the coming reprieve to prepare the emerging generation for what will mark it for eternity as one of the greatest ever.

"Some of the greatest messengers of power the world has ever seen are being prepared right now to preach the gospel of the Kingdom throughout the earth."

The New Breed

Just as true warriors run to the sound of battle, not away from it, there are Kingdom messengers who will not run from disaster and problems, but to them. They will not shrink back from any level of chaos, but rather bring order and peace to it. As the world continues to fall apart, they will stand on solid ground, and in due time begin to draw the attention of the world because of it. These will not lose their peace in the midst of any threat or problem because they will have built their lives on the Kingdom that cannot be shaken by anything happening on the earth. Their peace will calm many storms.

"We are in the time when those who have built their lives on the Kingdom of God, and those who have not, will become increasingly clear."

One of the basic characteristics of those whose lives have been established on the Kingdom of God, is that they will have peace and come alive, even thriving during times of trouble. This is because they have been prepared to live in the greatest time of trouble the world has ever known. They prepared by building their lives on the Kingdom, not on the things of this world that are so easily shaken.

This new breed are the friends of the Holy Spirit, who saw the world and moved upon it in its original state of chaos, and will do so again upon the chaos mankind has created by trying to live without God. Just as the Holy Spirit brought forth a beautiful creation before, He will bring forth a new creation after this chaos, that even eclipses the first in its beauty and harmony.

It is simply impossible for mankind to mess up things so badly, that the Holy Spirit cannot fix them, quickly and easily. All we have to do is turn to Him and ask. In preparation for the restoration of mankind and the earth that is coming, He will begin to move upon the problems and chaos in the lives of all who call upon the name of the Lord. We are going to know the Holy Spirit as the One who can fix anything, easily and quickly. As we are charged in Philippians 4:6-7:

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

The Old and the Bold

There is a saying in aviation that "there are old pilots and bold pilots, but there are not many old, bold pilots." The inference is that if you are too bold as a pilot, you will not live to be old. That may be true in aviation, but it is not true in the Kingdom. Those who will last the longest in the time to come, will be those who have walked in the boldest faith.

"Faith is a combination of boldness and courage, which is rooted in a profound trust in the Lord."

Boldness, courage, and trust in the Lord will be increasingly demanded by those who will stay on the path of life. Of course, many brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world have lived in such a place for a long time, having to walk in bold faith to survive every day.

The United States is one of but a few very rare nations where radical Christianity has ever been tolerated without severe and continuous mortal persecution. Even the so-called "Christian nations" have rarely, if ever, tolerated radical Christians. They may encourage institutional or almost any form of non-threatening lukewarm Christianity, but not radical faith.

It has likewise been rare for even the United States to tolerate radical Christians, though rarely has that persecution been unto death. Just a few decades ago, it was nearly impossible for Pentecostals to get a job if it were known that they spoke in tongues.

Today, there are forces promoting the freedom to do or say just about anything anywhere, while laws are passed or court decisions are handed down to deny Christians even the most basic freedom of speech. Students can freely use curse words in class, but if they dare to mention the name of Jesus, they can be suspended. Likewise, if a teacher ever gives a student a Bible or a religious tract, they will likely be fired. It is interesting that the same is not necessarily true if a teacher gives a student a Koran.

True, radical Christianity, which does not seek political correctness, will always be offensive to those who are controlled by the fear of man. True Christians, who seek to live lives in obedience to God, are, and almost always will be, under continual attack everywhere in this present age. If we want to get along with this present world, we will have to compromise our faith.

"True Christianity will always be persecuted."

Yet, true Christianity is the only hope for the world and for those who are doing the persecuting. If we do not radically obey, the salt quickly loses its ability to preserve. So true Christians will never be prone to seek security or approval from the world, but from God alone. To live that way is also the greatest freedom and greatest peace that we can have.

It Was as the Best of Times and the Worst of Times

Not only the United States, but much of the world was traumatized by the Hurricane Katrina disaster. The world watched in anxious astonishment as the wealthiest, most powerful nation on earth was brought to her knees by a single storm--the worst problems being caused by the breaking of a single levee. How could this have happened? Can it happen again? Even more importantly, what can we do about it?

Just as a bad automobile accident can leave a family wounded and affected for years, Hurricane Katrina will have an impact on our nation for years to come. However, a great deal of good can come from it, if we handle it right. Just as a bad car accident can make better drivers out of everyone touched by it for a long time, and make them appreciate each other much more, Katrina can do the same for us.

"The point of this Bulletin is to help us use every coming storm or disaster to become stronger and better."

President Bush was appointed to serve through eight years of troubled waters, and to appoint Supreme Court Justices who could begin to reverse the persecution of Christians in America, and the evil that will bring much more severe discipline from the Lord if not repented of. To fulfill its purpose as a nation, the United States will have to walk in an increasingly lonely place, enduring the rejection from many other nations. The approval and favor of God is worth much more than all the other nations could ever offer us.

Likewise, Christians who walk without compromise, repenting of the things that the Lord disapproves of, taking a stand for truth and righteousness, will not have many friends in this world.

We will, however, help save the world from destruction and prepare the way for the Lord.

Year in Review
by Regina Shank

December 15, 2006

It is my hope and desire to see each of you prospering and in health, looking forward to a tremendous holiday season of family time and joy in the Presence of the Lord. At times, this season can be intense, leaving us with feelings of pressure, loneliness, and concern. May the Lord lift up your eyes from shopping malls and gift wrap to see His shadow of protection over your life, and His invitation to continually come through the open door of Rev. 4 to fellowship with Him.

Missouri Prayer has had the privilege of meeting many of you at our regional gatherings this year where we worshipped the Lord together and pressed into Him asking for His Presence to invade our atmosphere and shift us from religious practices to relationship with a Living, Loving God who leads us by His Spirit.

A partial list of what has been accomplished this year includes:

  • · Increased our intercessory base from approximately 800 to over 1300 intercessors.
  • · Set in regional leaders so that we now have eight out of the ten regions covered.
  • · Beginning to develop regional teams.
  • · Prayed at the Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City.
  • . Prayed with the governor in his office
  • · Held two state conferences, one in St. Louis and one in Kansas City, decreeing the Presence and purpose of the Lord in Missouri.
  • · Prayed around the borders of the state, staking each border county and the capitol city for the Lord.
  • · Prayed onsite at Steelville, Jefferson City, each county seat in the border counties, Kansas City, St. Louis, Lake of the Ozarks, Mexico, Eugene, and other cities.
  • · Led or participated in several prayer journeys both within the United States and other nations including Washington, D.C. the Great Lakes, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Israel.
  • · Taught on strategic prayer, intercession, the prophetic gifting, the apostolic gifting etc.
  • · Ministered in Missouri prisons.
  • · Continued discipling the next generation.
  • · Held regional worship nights and taught seminars for worship leaders.
  • · Held several 24 hour prayer watches.

Thank you to all who have given into this important prayer ministry. Our need for finances grows along side the ministry. We would like to invite you to sow into Missouri Prayer with an end of the year gift, or consider a monthly commitment. Of course, your donations are tax deductible. Our address is:

Blessings to each of you! We look forward to 2007 and all that the Lord has planned for us. Many of our leadership team will be attending the “Starting the Year Off Right Conference” and leadership meetings in Dallas the first week in January where we will connect with other state leaders and receive impartation and revelation concerning the days ahead.

An Open Letter to Missouri Prayer Leadership
by Regina Shank

November 29, 2006

I am humbled by all that the Lord has done in knitting our leadership team together. As I consider the last six, almost seven years of building, establishing, and counseling together, I realize that we have overcome many obstacles to arrive at this place.

Where are we?

I believe we have come to a place of established trust and unity. I want you to know that I trust you. I trust your counsel; I trust your heart toward the Lord and His purposes; I trust that when you are confronted with a choice that tests your heart, that you will chose the Lord, His ways, and His purposes. You have demonstrated Godly character when you have been confronted with ungodly situations; you have continually “cried out” to not only demonstrate the supernatural gifts and miracles of the Holy Spirit, but to also demonstrate His character and fruit. The Bible says that “by their fruits, you will know them.” I have seen the fruit of your laid down lives and know that you are walking in faithfulness and truth with Jesus.

I believe we have come to the place of enlargement. Until the wrong foundations had been repented of and removed and the new one established, we had little to build on. I believe our foundation is now strong enough to hold whatever the Lord wants to build. He does promise that “he will build His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Those five foundational decisions that we established in five regions of Missouri have continued to remain strong in our hearts and in the realm of the spirit.

We have come to Hebron. Hebron was a major city in Judah and the place from which David first ruled. Judah was the tribe that was sent into battle first because the enemy is routed by true heartfelt worship. We are still establishing worship in the regions of Missouri through Regional Worship Nights, sending Judah first into the battle. David was called to rule from Jerusalem; but still had to defeat many more enemies before that was to be a reality. We too have many enemies to defeat, but we are ruling and reigning with Jesus from a stronger position than before. Hebron was David’s capital for seven and one half years and here he was anointed as king over all Israel. (II Samuel 2:1-4, 11, I Kings 2). Hebron means “friendship”. This place of friendship with God must be our dwelling place in order to move forward in possessing and occupying the land that has been given to us by the Lord. In friendship with God, Abraham left the familiar to travel to a city whose builder and maker was God. In friendship with God, we will walk out of the familiar into unmapped territory, leaving all that would try to compromise our focus toward Him.

What do you see?

It is a similar report as that of Numbers 13:26-30: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan. Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” We are of the same spirit as Caleb and Joshua who see the fruit of the land, see the giants who dwell there, but also see the Lord and His ability to give us victory.

I also see a generation who need to fathered, trained and released into ministry. I see a world in darkness waiting to be shown the light of the gospel. I see a church in need a fresh vision of the Kingdom of God. I Cor. 4: 2 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

“Watchman, what is left of the night? Watchman, what is left of the night? The watchman replies, ‘Morning is coming, but also the night…” Isaiah 21:11-12 I see great light shining in darkness. The light will get lighter and the dark will get darker. It is a time when decisions must be made to be “set apart” . I have seen this demonstrated in each of you. Thank you for your contribution of wisdom, counsel, and revelation into the heart of Missouri Prayer. May the Lord continue to bless each of you with more of His Presence, more of His grace, and a renewed sense of where we are and where we are going.

PROPHECY
by Chuck Pierce

November 9, 2006

Dear Watchmen:

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray for this nation. God is rising up a new system in this land. I do not believe we have seen all the changes that will occur. Hang on—the next two years will be like walking through a field of flying arrows.

I feel that our political system is out of array with God's will for the land. May a Holy Spirit revolution begin and awaken God's Kingdom plan in His people. May the Spirit-filled people in our nation create an atmosphere of change that causes a rebuilding of the political structure that has grown crusty and dull from political ideology rather than filled with wisdom from the Father's Throne Room.

Remember that this is the Year of the Sword. We are in for a great shaking in this land. In the midst of seeking God, we need to reorder the civil government during our prayer watches. God can call you to stand in the gap between the Republican and Democratic Parties. That is what intercessors do—stand in the gap! You can decree that God is going to fill the gap. This has to be done! Find your place on the wall! Watch! Use your sword to decree the will of the Lord for the land.

In this nation, we are being visited by a Holy, Righteous God. One definition of visitation is linked with the casting of a vote. How we vote is how we are asking to be visited. This vote by a nation is a vote for change. However, in the midst of a nation wanting change, I believe we have opened the door to many demonic forces. Satan changes times and laws to attempt to confine us to a plan that would restrict our freedom. Our recent vote as a nation could be an indication that we have missed the opportunity to be liberated from legal boundaries that favor demonic activity. Therefore, we must cry out for a shaking.

The sword is coming to shake the atmosphere. This shaking will be a Psalm 29 shaking! The voice of the Lord is shaking the forest bare. In other words, we are beginning to see the light at the end of the woods. This is a "Hansel and Gretel" season where we seem to have been seduced, led into the woods, and captured by a form of bewitching knowledge. We are now finding the strategy to break out of the "oven" and run back into a place of safety. The voice of God will cause the enemy to speak forth or try to bring forth his plan outside of God's timing. Then we will be like Esther and go to war to overthrow the decrees that are set against God's covenant.

Another form of visitation comes in the concept of an "audit" or "census." The Lord is auditing the nation state by state and reviewing how the Body is gathering and worshipping. He is taking a census of where His people are and how they are standing. I would encourage you to get a copy of Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation and pray through the prophetic revelation for each state. We are not a people that operate by sight but by faith. We decree change by faith, and will watch God creatively intervene in this land.

To have your sword sharpened, you must go to the high places to release the high praises! Our sword is being made sharp! This is not without a cost. You must worship where the "thrones of iniquity" have been built. (The Worship Warrior: Ascending in Worship, Descending in War is very important to help you understand this concept.) Like David, we must surprise and overthrow the Jebusite structure that has held out inheritance captive (II Sam. 5). New sounds are forming in heaven. We must birth these sounds into the earth.

I would encourage you to "trim your wicks", watch, and wait patiently for the Lord to come. Do not be like the "unwise virgins" and lose your expectation of what will happen in days ahead! This unexpected delay (such as in the state of South Dakota) will not faze those who are trimming their wicks and conserving their oil. Wait patiently and watch carefully for we are in a process of being trimmed.
Holy Spirit has delayed His coming into the civil government until He has fully tweaked, groomed, and empowered the government of the Church. Let judgment begin with His house first, and our love become hot again for Him. We will then see the civil government realize that there is a force in the land that is contending for God's covenant plan to manifest.

Watch the floods that are occurring in the land. They are indicators of the river of God that is rising. That river will become torrential and devastating to some and refreshing and moving to others—bringing us to a new place of harvest. The river of God is stirring the fish. They are coming to the surface. The Lord will fill our nets if we will creatively stand in the rising river and not fear being swept away.

The level of contention between the two-party system is overwhelming. The concept of revolution and revolutionaries is brewing in the land. This nation was birthed on revolution and will see revolution again. The party leaders appear to be like the two women in the Bible arguing over the one live baby (I Kings 3). There are some that have a righteous heart for the Lord. There are others who are motivated by political ambition. This is a Judas spirit. May the "one" who has the heart of God for this nation rise up and come into a new place of nurturing and leadership for our nation. The other will be invaded by the "son of perdition" to wreak havoc against God's people and wear down their minds.

I have been studying the end of 1 Kings 18 and the beginning of 1 Kings 19, and asking the Lord for revelation over the "Baal" structures that would oppose our nation. Elijah faithfully carried the word of the Lord in his heart until the time came to intercede, bring God's word into the atmosphere and produce change. Upon confrontation from the strongman (Jezebel) at the end of that season, he ran. He "saw" the demonic forces empowering her and could not stand before them without a new word from the Lord. Stand firm, do not run! Wait for the next word, and we will see a generation arise that will overthrow the Jezebel structure in the land.

From the war in Iraq, Babylonian spirits have brought great confusion into this land. There is a wind of the Spirit that will begin to blow from January 6 through June 6 that will clear up much of this confusion. Watch Israel in June! A new strength will arise in that nation. There will come a move at that time for us to compromise or rearrange our support for God's covenant land. Stand and command these spirits that would negatively direct our government to be blown from their position of influence.

You are a blessing. Do not let any failure mentality come upon you. Continue to allow the Lord to prepare you for the future!

PROPHECY
by Chuck Pierce

October 17, 2006

On October 17th, Chuck Pierce sent out a prophetic word that mentioned several states and/or cities in our nation. A portion of that word spoke to St. Louis and I quote: “ My Spirit will visit St. Louis and there will be a great sound of wailing that arises that births the future of this land. Decree this begins!"

What a serious Word we are under! We must arise to seek out this matter before the Lord. Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings”.

St. Louis: Which wail will you choose?

There is a wailing that comes from the judgments of God,
another that comes from ingratitude toward God,
and a third wail that comes from a cry of intercession that overcomes and overwhelms death bringing forth a new decree of Life.
The first mention of wailing is Exodus 12:30. and is a result of the judgments of God released on disobedience: “Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.”

This judgment of God was released on a system that had held the people in bondage and servitude to foreign gods and kingdoms. The message was: “Let my people go that they might worship me.”

The second mention of wailing is Numbers 11:4-6 and describes a wail coming from the flesh caused by discontent and ingratitude toward the provision of God in the wilderness: “The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, "If only we had meat to eat! We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost—also the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!"

Our flesh can produce a wail that the Lord will hear and respond to, sometimes releasing to us what we have cried out for even though it might not be what is best for us. The wail of ingratitude toward the provision of God produced change, but it hindered their relationship with God.

The third wail is described in Esther 4:1-3. This wail was the cry that birthed a new decree of life in the land.

“ When Mordecai learned of all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the city, wailing loudly and bitterly. But he went only as far as the king's gate, because no one clothed in sackcloth was allowed to enter it. In every province to which the edict and order of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing. Many lay in sackcloth and ashes.”

This third wail was a “birthing wail” that produced intercession for deliverance from a decree of death. This is the wail that must come from the hearts of those who understand where we are in the battle for Life, the battle for this nation, and for the purposes of God. A spiritual birthing wail will bring forth that which has been conceived within us by the Holy Spirit. It is released at the kairos moment by the Holy Spirit within us.

Jeremiah 9:17-21 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skillful of them. Let them come quickly and wail over us till our eyes overflow with tears and water streams from our eyelids. The sound of wailing is heard from Zion: 'How ruined we are! How great is our shame! We must leave our land because our houses are in ruins.' " Now, O women, hear the word of the LORD; open your ears to the words of his mouth. Teach your daughters how to wail; teach one another a lament. Death has climbed in through our windows and has entered our fortresses; it has cut off the children from the streets and the young men from the public squares.”

It is our desire to rise up at this time as Esther’s in the earth, crying out to the Lord for a new decree of Life to be released in this nation. Our children are being “cut off” through abortion and medical research. Our lament must rise before the Throne giving birth to a reversal of the decree of death and a release of a generation that will choose the ways and purposes of God.

It is not too late, the Lord can turn our wailing into dancing. He can reverse the decrees of death.

Psalms 30:10-12 “ Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me; O LORD, be my help. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.”

When Jesus arrived at the scene of death, He told them to “stop wailing”, then stepped into the room where death had stolen a child. He awakened her from the sleep of death and restored Life to her body.

Luke 8:52 “Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. "Stop wailing," Jesus said. "She is not dead but asleep."

The Spirit of the Lord must visit St. Louis as well as other cities to stir us to cry out until He comes to awaken America from her sleep of death. “Wake up America; wake up St. Louis! Cry out until the sleeping giant of the church arises from her slumber. Cry out until that which appears dead rises to new Life, new power, restoration and passion for the one who has not left us in a hopeless state, but has given us direction toward restoration. “Let the third wail begin.”
