| Our Vision
Missouri Prayer Mission is the Missouri arm of the United States Strategic Prayer Network and exists to implement the following goals and initiatives:
1. Mobilize a statewide prayer network that organizes prayer efforts across the state thereby preparing the way for the release of the gospel message to each person.
2. Pray through specific issues that are holding back the harvest and causing the territory to move away from God’s purposes. Examples include wrongful shedding of blood, idolatry, broken covenants, and deceptive strongholds.
3. Set watchmen/gatekeepers in place who are able to see afar off for the purpose of protection and/or receiving the blessing of the Lord.
4. Hold city-wide and/or regional and/or state sacred assemblies to repent of sins that are holding an area in captivity.
5. Respond to national initiatives of the USSPN and mobilize city, regional, and/or state wide initiatives essential to breaking through and transforming the city, region, and state.
6. Inform statewide intercessors of strategic prayer needs that cover state, national, and world issues.
7. Implement and/or direct strategic prayer journeys targeting historical wounds in the land or its inhabitants.
8. Organize and facilitate prayer without ceasing based on Biblical principles of effectual prayer.

Missouri Prayer Mission began on June 17th, 2000 and is the Missouri arm of the United States Spiritual Warfare Network. The previous arm, "Restoring the Gates" began networking pastors and intercessors across Missouri in late 1997. With the resignation of the previous coordinator in April of 2000, "Restoring the Gates" took up a new vision. The appointment of a new State Coordinator took place in May of 2000 and the "Missouri Prayer Mission" was born. The Purpose and Goals of the Missouri Prayer Mission are implemented through City and Regional Prayer Watches, Networking of Pastors and Intercessors, Teaching on Spiritual Mapping and Identificational Repentance, and Prayer Journeys within the state.
The ultimate desire of the Missouri Prayer Mission is to release our state from the strongholds and bondages that hold her captive and bring her into her destiny as a state. Missouri is to carry the heart of the Lord for those who are lost, broken, and enslaved to sin. Missouri is to be a place of refuge to the oppressed, a place where the "River of God" flows bringing healing throughout the state. Missouri is called to be a place filled with uncompromising righteousness through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ; a place where every man, woman, boy and girl has a genuine encounter with the person of Jesus Christ and will turn their lives over to Him.
