Welcome to our tri-weekly Intercessors' Prayer Guide for the State of Missouri. The strategy is to mobilize unified and focused prayer across the state that is aimed at just a few very specific targets. The targets are corporate in nature. They cover statewide, regional, city, national and inter-national issues that require the power of corporate agreement. We will focus on these targets for three-week periods. We believe there will be tremendous breakthrough as we siege these targets together for 21 day periods.

Intercessors’ Prayer Guide

August 16 – September 6, 2010

Shalom Missouri Prayer Intercessors,

“For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Hallelujah! What a wealth of great news is contained in these two verses!

*Let us declare this scripture wherever we are and wherever we go.

Let us look just a bit more at the many facets of Truth displayed in these verses.

First and foremost, of course, this scripture is a prophecy about JESUS, The SON OF MAN and SON OF GOD, Who has been given by The Father to secure and ensure our eternal salvation. HALLELUJAH! And this Son is not only Lord and Savior, HE IS THE KING OF KINGS and THE LORD OF LORDS. The KINGDOM GOVERNMENT is on His shoulders. (Isaiah 22:22)

“Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” – As we look at the beautiful attributes of our God, we can only cry out like the seraphim, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory”. (Isaiah 6:3)

“Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end”! HALLELUJAH! Such JOY this TRUTH brings to us.

*Let us fill the earth with this declaration.

As we do, we will have testimony after testimony in our lives of the increase of His government and peace.

*Let us worship together with the words recorded in Revelation 5:13, when John heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them singing:

“To Him Who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!”

Ever since the VICTORY of the CROSS and RESURRECTION of JESUS, His supernatural, spiritual kingdom has been advancing through His Body of believers who trust Him and who are earthen temples in which His Holy Spirit dwells. Jesus clearly taught and released this dimension of His Kingdom but it was not received by the majority of the Israelites, especially the religious. We, as His Bride, are humbled and honored and full of joy that this dimension of Him and His Kingdom has come to us. Truly, the KINGDOM IS HERE AND NOW in and through the heart of The Bride. Hallelujah!

Let us also fully embrace the aspect and expression of His Kingdom that IS YET TO COME. “He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.” The religious of His day were blind to the Kingdom in its reality and expression as outlined in the paragraph above. Let us be careful in our day that we are not blinded to the reality and expression of the Kingdom at His Second Coming. We are living in the best of times! We are living in and we are ever increasing expressions of the First Coming Kingdom; but we are also PREPARING THE WAY for the manifestation of the Kingdom when JESUS SITS ON THE THRONE OF DAVID IN JERUSALEM AND RULES AS KING OVER ALL THE EARTH IN HIS RESURRECTED BODY. In Acts 1:6, immediately prior to His Ascension, the apostles asked Jesus if He was going to restore the Kingdom to Israel at that time. They knew from the scriptures, and Jesus had never taught them to believe anything different, that the Messiah, who would be a descendent of David, would literally reign over Israel and the nations on the earth. They were still eagerly anticipating the fulfillment of these prophecies. When Jesus answered them, He did not “correct” them in the sense that they should not continue to expect Him to literally reign on the earth; He simply stated that the timing was not yet revealed. He also made it clear that in the meantime, they had a mandate to witness about Him to all the earth, beginning in Jerusalem.

*We have a mandate to pray for and uphold the restoration of the people of Israel to their land and to their God – eagerly and fervently interceding for the day when their spiritual eyes will be open and they will recognize and WELCOME BACK TO THE EARTH the Messiah of all the nations! Let us declare with boldness and confidence that JESUS WILL REIGN ON DAVID’S THRONE – in JERUSALEM – and that He will establish and uphold David’s throne with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever!

HALLELUJAH! All of these things will be accomplished by the “zeal of The Almighty”! Not by our might, not by our power, but by The Spirit of The LORD!

*Let us pray for and proclaim freedom for The Bride from striving in our flesh to accomplish the promises of God. Our work is to BELIEVE and from our belief take a spiritual stand to declare the Word of God.

THANKS AND PRAISE FOR ANSWERED PRAYER:

*Let us give our Father THANKS and PRAISE for HIS speedy response (Luke 18:1-8) to our intercession for the Gulf Oil Spill!

We know it was THE HAND OF GOD that allowed the cap to be successful. Indeed, He heard our cries for Mercy and intervened on our behalf. It is so precious to see His Mercy in action.

*Let us continue to hold the USA before Him in a humble and confident attitude of heart.

It is encouraging that He stepped in to the Gulf Oil Spill – it gives us boldness to continue to press for a MIGHTY MOVE of HIS SPIRIT throughout our land. THANK YOU FOR STANDING IN THE GAP AND FOR CONTINUING TO DO SO.

*Let us also offer praises for the strong (71%) passage of Proposition C in Missouri.

Thank you for calling on His Name in this matter.

“…and a little child shall lead them.” (Isaiah11:6b)

*Let us give thanks to our Father for moving powerfully among the children at the MO Prayer/Equipping a Generation Kids Camp, which was held August 8-10. We sent out a special prayer request for this camp – and we thank all of you for responding in intercession before the Father. A portion of our Gatekeeper Section below will be devoted to sharing the fruits of the camp.

We close this section with a meditation on the words of Jesus:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John15:5)

“If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples.” (John 15:7-8)

“Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My glory, the glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the creation of the world.” (John17:24)

Hallelujah! Jesus prayed that we would see His glory – the answer to His prayer is a sure thing – we need only trust and obey!

“Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.” (Ephesians 6:24)

1. Gatekeeper State Focus on Children

“From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise because of Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” (Psalm 8:2)

The King James translation reads:

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” (Psalm 8:2)

The word translated “ordained” comes from the Hebrew word “yacad” (Strongs#3245). The word means “to set; to sit down together, to appoint, to take counsel, to establish, to consult”. It is a very purposeful word that both bestows authority (appoint/set/establish) and portrays mutual authority and counsel between two parties (sit down together /take counsel/consult).

Surely our Father has a special commission and place in His heart for children to have Kingdom authority!

The word translated as “strength” in King James is the Hebrew word “owz” (Strongs#5797). It is from a primary root word “azaz” (Strongs#5810) which means “to be stout, impudent, prevail, strengthen, be strong”. “Owz” is strength in various applications such as “force, majesty, security, praise, boldness, loudness, might, power, strength”.

Now that we have the understanding of the depth of meaning of the words ordained and strength in Psalm 8, we have a much stronger interpretation than we have traditionally held when we look at the following verse:

“Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

No wonder Jesus was indignant and rebuked His disciples when they considered the presence of the children to be an intrusion on the “important” work of Jesus! (Matthew 19:13; Mark 10:13-14; Luke 18:15)

*Repent on behalf of the Bride for still being influenced by the religious spirits that are assigned to keep children from Jesus.

*Call the Bride into revelation concerning Psalm 8:2 and the words of Jesus regarding children.

*“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given…..” (Isaiah 9:6a)

We began this Intercessors’ Guide with this scripture and rejoiced that it is a prophetic scripture about Jesus Himself. However, there is a sense that The Holy Spirit is presently speaking through this scripture that The LORD is giving to His Bride a “new birth” in the children that are part of The Bride. There is a BIRTHING MOVEMENT in the children. To us is given a MOVEMENT OF THE SPIRIT in our children that will indeed silence the enemy and the avenger.

*Father, we thank You – we REJOICE and we RECEIVE a MOVE OF YOUR SPIRIT in our children. LET IT BE. Amen.

*“And you, my child, will be called a prophet of The Most High; for you will go before The Lord to prepare the way for Him.” (Luke 1:76)

These words were originally spoken over John The Baptist and we know that these words indeed proved true. Once again, The Holy Spirit is speaking these words to the children that are part of The Bride.

*Let us call forth the fullness of the prophetic anointing that is upon our children.

*“And the child grew and became strong in spirit;” (Luke 1:80a)

*Pray and declare this over our children.

Hallelujah! Now for the really exciting part of this section! Listed below are prayer points that were recorded on the morning of August 10 at the close of the Kids Camp. The focus of the worship/intercession session was the state of Missouri. The children were informed that people all over the state were praying for them and they were amazed at that! Again, thank you for your part in the release that came to and through these children. Some of the prayers and songs were from children as young as 6 years. They are listed in the order in which they were released. Words from adults are in italics, to identify that it was an adult. We are sharing these here so that….

*WE CAN ALL COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH THESE ARROWS SENT FORTH BY THE CHILDREN.

* They have led the way – let us join them:

*Walls of sin crumbling, people running to the Lord

*Isaiah 32:1 “King will rule with justice”

*Orphans who need homes

*Everyone from the state gathering around the heart of the Lord, praising Him.

*Pastor Carol saw a vision of the Cloud of Witnesses cheering on those who are praying now

*Song – One life, one tear, it’s all I have to release

*1Cor.10:31 “do it all to the Glory of God”

*Prayer for Kansas City – businesses, happiness, people

*No more abortion centers

*Largest number of churches, more followers for You

*Orphans to find home by end of year

*Sea of pain would break down

*Hearts for You Lord, to change

*Rev. 22:17

*Abortion to stop, no longer happen in our state

*No sickness in Kansas City

*Psalm 7:1

*Saw a cup on the map – Psalm 16:5 “You’ve assigned me my cup”

*Touch everyone’s heart, more churches, everyone praising the Lord

*Missouri will be a Trailblazer State – they will show the rest of the nation how to turn to You Lord

*Life prayer for Missouri

*Bring fresh fire and revival to Missouri

*Psalm 89:52

*Missouri will give praise to You Lord forever and ever

*Oil Spill – Present to have wisdom to clean up environment

*Psalm 23

*Abortions to stop

*Saw children holding torches – taking them all to the state of Missouri – reaching one person at a time (spoken by adult)

*Leaders in Jefferson City to come to know the Lord (spoken by adult)

*People who don’t know Jesus – the state will be renamed the Christian state – people who know Him will want to know Him better

*Orphans to have homes, be happy and know God

*Help people to know about You Jesus in Missouri

*Psalm 2:8, Ask of Me…

*Song – “Open the eyes of our state, Lord, open the eyes of our state. We want to see You. We want to see You.”

THANK YOU, CHILDREN!

2. Missouri Gatekeeper State USA/Israel Focus

USA

“If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2Chronicles 7:14)

Let us not grow weary of bringing the USA to the Mercy Seat. Moses interceded for Israel without food and water for 40 day periods at least two times. Some scholars interpret the scriptures that he was up on the mountain for three 40 day periods. We are presently in the Hebrew month of Elul, which began on August 10. According to traditional calculations, Moses was definitely on the mountain interceding for Israel during Elul and came down with God’s pardon on what would become Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement – the day of national salvation for Israel. When he came down, the glory shining through his face was so brilliant that it frightened the people and he put on a veil. May we see the glory of the LORD as a result of our intercessions and may we behold with unveiled faces! Please refer to Exodus chapte rs 32-34 to meditate upon the intercessory ministry of Moses. We are in the season of special grace to intercede for our nation. We are an intercessory, gatekeeper state that is destined to host His manifested Presence- let us not lose heart in laying hold of Him.

Father, we confess our national sins before Your Throne of Grace. As a nation, through our national policies, we continue daily to add to our cup of iniquity and it is almost full. Even at this moment, Father, innocent blood is shed through legalized abortion. Father, hear the cries of the children who lifted their voices to You at the camp and asked You to stop abortion in our state. Even at this moment, Father, our government is turning its back on you and is promoting the Gay Agenda. Father, we cry out to You for justice in California. Consider the intercession of Your Ecclesia that resides in California; consider the heart and will of the people who voted against homosexual marriage. We lay hold of You to intervene in this situation. Even at this moment, Father, our national policy regarding Israel is touch ing the apple of Your eye and putting us at great peril. We confess our national sin of pushing Israel to enter into a false peace agreement with those who want to destroy their nation. Father, for the sake of Your own Name, for the sake of the righteous (those who trust in YOU for our righteousness; those who agree with YOUR WORD), for the sake of millions of innocent children who have not sinned in these areas, for the sake of the First Nations peoples who are turning to You, SHOW FORTH YOUR MERCY, FATHER. Do not give us what we deserve. Father, let Your discipline and even Your judgments bring forth Your FULL REDEMPTIVE purposes upon the USA.

Father, GRANT US A MAJOR GIFT OF REPENTANCE. We cannot work up true repentance - Your word says that it is a gift from You. We are in desperate need of this gift.

Father, GRANT US A SPIRIT OF GRACE AND SUPPLICATION so that we might humble ourselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways so that You will come and HEAL OUR LAND (and seas).

Father, GRANT US A SPIRIT OF CONVICTION. Father, the conscience of the nation is close to being seared through the hardness of the years of bloodshed and our rebellious ways. Our love has grown cold. Father, You have said that EVEN NOW, EVEN NOW, if we will turn to You - You will respond. Father, HELP THIS NATION TO BE CONVICTED OF SIN again so that WE MAY TRULY KNOW YOUR MERCY.

Israel

Let us pray from the Word of God:

“We lift up our eyes to You, to You whose throne is in heaven. As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God till He shows us His mercy.” (Psalm 123:1-2)

Father, strengthen those of Israel who are Your Bride. Let them lead the way in looking to You. Father, by Your mercy grant to unbelieving Israel – whether it be the religious, secular, New Age and every other expression of unbelief – grant to them eyes to see the Truth of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Son, Yeshua, their Messiah. We cry out for all of Israel to be saved.

“Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt. We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.” (Psalm 123:3-4)

Father, we continue to ask that You use the present circumstances to bring Your people to godly humility and brokenness before You. Do not allow the enemy to take advantage of their weariness in being contemptible in the eyes of the nations. Especially grant to those in positions of authority to trust in You and not in man’s futile solutions.

“If the LORD had not been on our side – let Israel say – If the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away.” (Psalm 124:1-5)

Father, enable many in Israel to see that the situation is desperate and that without You they would indeed perish. But put a fresh, holy faith in many and cause them to begin now to declare that The LORD is with us.

“Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 124:6-8)

Hallelujah! Father, we especially pray over the young men and women who comprise Israel’s army. And we most especially pray over the approximately 150 members of Israel’s army who are believers in Yeshua. Let them be pillars of faith in the midst of their fellow soldiers and in the midst of the enemy. May they lead the nation in giving You praise for Your faithfulness.

“Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people both now and forevermore.” (Psalm 125:1-2)

Father, we declare Your faithful love for Your city of Jerusalem and Your people Israel. You are the ultimate defense shield that surrounds them. May they know You and quickly.

“The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.” (Psalm 125:3)

Father, we declare that Jesus is the Prince of Peace and the King of Kings over Israel. The government is on His shoulders and of the increase of His government and of peace there is no end. Father, we pray that You set the people of Israel free from the tyranny of Hamas in Gaza and Judea and Samaria (aka: The West Bank), and free from the tyranny of Hezbullah in Lebanon. We ask You to set the people of Iran, the Middle East and the entire world free from the tyranny of the Iranian regime. Thank You, Father.

“Peace be upon Israel” (Psalm 125:5b)

The TRUE PEACE that is in and through MESSIAH YESHUA!

3. Portals of Glory Focus

“And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is The Spirit.” (2Corinthians 3:18)

Hallelujah! Ever-increasing glory! No end to the increase of His government and peace!

Thank you for praying for the “Preparing The Land for Glory” Training/Activation Workshop that was held in Rolla, MO on August 13-14. Your prayers prepared the way for a time of being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory for all who participated. We believe that the LORD graced us to reclaim territory for the Kingdom of God.

“Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is the house You will build for Me? Where will My resting place be?.......This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite and trembles at My word.” (Isaiah 66:1-2)

Our LORD is looking for His Resting Place. May we have a corporate heart in Missouri that is humble, contrite and trembles at His Word. May He find sanctuary and a people through Him He may display His glory at the following gatherings:

*Let us give thanks and praise that this event can take place at our state capital! May His glory increase in our state government through what is released on Saturday!

*State Gathering with Dutch Sheets

Apostle Dutch Sheets will be coming to Dayspring Worship Center to release revelation of God’s heart for the heartland including restoration of the apostolic gift to the body of Christ. We invite you to attend both Sunday morning and Sunday evening gatherings on August 29. There is no registration fee.

4. Capital Prayer

*Psalm 93 is the foundational scripture for the Capital Prayer Team that prays each week at the Capital Building in Jefferson City. If we are unable to attend in person, we can join them in Spirit every Monday from 11am – 1pm.

*1Timothy 2:1-4. Continue to pray for our government leaders according to our mandate in this scripture.

Continue to pray the following scriptures into the upcoming elections in November:

*"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." (Proverbs 14:34)

*”For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king. It is He who will save us.” (Isaiah 33:22)

*”I will restore your judges as in the days of old, your counselors at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.” (Isaiah 1:26)

Let us declare the LORDSHIP of JESUS over the State of Missouri, the USA and Israel.

“Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD,

to the GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.”

(Philippians 2:9-11)
