Shalom Missouri Prayer Intercessors,
"In that day the LORD Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of His people. He will be a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate." (Isaiah 28:5-6)
Hallelujah! The battle at the gate is first won through the intercession of His own watchmen. May we all be strengthened now as we stand firm before The LORD for the following specific pieces of legislation that are before our legislators. These pieces of legislation are gates into our state. Let us arise in unity to battle for the following righteous legislation that needs to pass in our state before the close of 2010 legislature. Please note that House Bill 1850, which would give homosexuals preferential treatment in Missouri employment, is the one bill that we do not favor. Please remember that we are against the homosexual agenda being legislated into our state, but let us pray for mercy, the conviction of The Holy Spirit and deliverance in Jesus for those trapped in this stronghold of sin.
"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." (Proverbs 14:34).
Let us appeal to the Highest Court to intervene in our state government this next week to open gates of righteousness in our state. As always, we appeal for Holy Spirit to work in a HEART level in our state.
Our Righteous Father, our Righteous King, our Righteous Lawgiver, we appeal to You to move mightily among our legislators this week and give them a heart to pass the legislation that we bring before You. We say to You, Father, according to Your word: "Open for us the gates of righteousness; we will enter and give thanks to You, This is the gate of The LORD through which the righteous may enter. We will give You thanks, for You answered us; You have become our salvation." (Psalm 118:19-21). Amen.

Only one more week left for the 2010 MO legislature to meet. Important legislation needs to pass before they close.
- HB 1725/SB 747 bill: This would block the abortion mandates contained in federal health care legislation recently signed into law by President Barack Obama. Pray that favor would be on this bill and God would move on the hearts of our legislature to support this bill.
- SJR 31 / HJR 62 Constitutional Right to Pray Amendment
- HCS SS SCS SBs 586 & 617 ‘Adult’ Industry Regulations
- Pray for the Ultrasound Bill as it is in the final stages in the MO senate. It has passed the house, now waiting for the Senate. Pray for favor and safe passage in the Senate.
- House Bill 1850 is a bill that would give Homosexuals preferential treatment in Missouri employment based on their sexual preference or conduct.
